Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Personal Insurance Advisor to join our team in Medicine Hat, AB. As a key member of our Personal Insurance team, you'll provide exceptional customer service, handle multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Answer multi-line phones and direct client inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage the flow of walk-in customers and callers, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
- Process customer payments, bank deposits, petty cash management, and account coding with accuracy and efficiency.
- Be a part of our billing team, answering client calls regarding payments and resolving any issues promptly.
- Monitor and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and couriers, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ensure our EPIC system and company portals are updated consistently, reflecting the latest information and changes.
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
- 2-5 years of experience in an office environment, preferably in a brokerage or insurance industry.
- Strong computer skills, including keyboarding and MS Office.
- Excellent customer focus, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Exposure to Epic is an asset, but not required.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
