Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Physiotherapy Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients, while also contributing to the growth and development of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
The Physiotherapy Specialist will be responsible for:
- Assessing clients to identify their rehabilitation needs and developing personalized care plans.
- Providing evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to clients, including exercises, manual therapy, and education.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive client care.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client interactions.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Physiotherapy from an approved institution.
- Current membership in good standing with the Canadian Association of Physiotherapists and the BC College of Physical Therapists.
- At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care setting or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
