We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work in long term and acute care facilities in the Levack area. This opportunity offers above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse with RhynoCare, you will provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care. You will utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure excellent nursing and personal care in assigned home areas.

  • To ensure timely and accessible admission for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • To ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
  • To maintain control and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, following protocols on all shifts.
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
Requirements

We require active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, ability to work with persons with infectious diseases, and valid BLS and First Aid & CPR certificates. Additionally, we need proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), a negative TB skin test within one year, and Hepatitis B status. A Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check is also required.

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shift times, eight or twelve hours in length, and 'float' between units as needed.
  • Reliability to be placed at agreed-upon facilities/unit.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
