We are seeking highly skilled Healthcare Professionals to work in various long term and acute care facilities within the Adamsdale area. This opportunity offers above-average wages, travel compensation, and accommodation.

Shifts will be scheduled in early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight hours with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care, while adhering to the scope of practice for registered nurses.
  • Cultivate sound nursing practices to deliver outstanding personal care in assigned home areas.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations to the home and its services.
  • Facilitate safe transfers and discharges, ensuring compliance with protocols on all assigned shifts.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans that cater to the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.

Requirements

  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario is mandatory.
  • Able to work effectively with individuals having infectious diseases.
  • Possess a valid BLS Certificate.
  • Hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Provide proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) as well as a negative TB skin test within one year and Hepatitis B vaccination.
  • Ongoing Vulnerable Sector Police Checks are required.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to flexible shift times, ranging from eight to twelve hours in length.
  • Able to 'float' between units within a hospital, depending on facility needs.
  • Reliable commitment to scheduled placements at agreed-upon facilities/units.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy is essential.
