Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Alberta Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that high-quality food and service are consistently delivered.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize our operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
