Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Certifications: Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team.
