Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Skyhawk Transport Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to strict safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
Work Environment:

This role involves working in various locations, with a focus on safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing schedules.
