Job Title: Truck Driver

At Skyhawk Transport Services Ltd., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and perform preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Bill of lading and driver logbook knowledge
  • Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work environment.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling
  • Flexibility, reliability, and team player skills
  • Will train
  • Green job, involving duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes
Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver with Skyhawk Transport Services Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate various routes and delivery times.
