Villa de Montfort is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our nursing home environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supply and empty bed pans, and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments to ensure seamless communication.
  • Make beds and maintain patients' rooms to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
