Job Summary

Villa de Montfort is seeking a skilled Medical Care Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities and provide assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Perform various duties related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Supply and empty bed pans, take patients' vital signs, and serve meal trays.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments, and make beds and maintain patients' rooms.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide emotional support to patients.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
