About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineering Expert to join our team at MEG. As a key member of our Project Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automation systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance to ensure safe and compliant designs.
  • Work closely with our Engineering Alliance Partner to design and implement automation systems.
  • Collaborate with our Industrial and Automation Control Systems team to commission, start-up, and operate automation systems.
  • Ensure key project design decisions are based on MEG's risk criteria and consider the operating lifecycle of the facility.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in automation engineering.
  • APEGA registration as a P. Eng or P.L. Eng.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Technology in a related field.
  • Familiarity with PLC and DCS systems, communication protocols, and control system architecture.
