At Hatch, we're passionate about making a positive impact on the world through innovative engineering solutions. We're seeking an Electrical Engineering graduate with a passion for Control Systems and Automation to join our Project Delivery Group.
As a Control Systems and Automation Specialist, you'll work on complex projects globally, collaborating with diverse teams to deliver exceptional results. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to challenging projects, gain experience in our Calgary office, and explore opportunities in other Hatch offices and at project sites.
In this role, you'll prepare Control and Automation deliverables, including Instrumentation and Control Design Criteria, Communication design criteria, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, and more. You'll also develop factory acceptance test and software acceptance test checking procedures, and work collaboratively with senior engineers and designers to deliver the best solution for our clients.
We're looking for a dynamic individual with a strong academic background in Electrical Engineering, a passion for Control Systems and Automation, and excellent organizational skills. If you're a team player with a creative approach to problem-solving, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare Control and Automation deliverables, including Instrumentation and Control Design Criteria, Communication design criteria, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, and more.
* Develop factory acceptance test and software acceptance test checking procedures.
* Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to deliver the best solution for our clients.
* Work independently and as part of a team to complete control and automation engineering design deliverables for a variety of projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Applied Science, Master of Applied Science, or Master of Engineering from an accredited University in Electrical Engineering.
* Working towards graduating in 2025, or recently graduated.
* Excellent academic record and strong organizational skills.
* Previous coop or work terms in the controls, automation and electrical engineering design and execution are an asset.
