Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our Calgary team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, creating and managing test suites, and executing test cases on multiple application platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and WebDriverIO
  2. Develop and execute test cases to evaluate the functionality and performance of user interfaces and APIs
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  4. Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Ruby, Java/JavaScript, C#, and Python
  5. Perform load and performance testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI
  6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering with a strong background in full-stack development
  2. Proficient in functional programming languages such as Ruby, Java/JavaScript, C#, and Python
  3. Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and WebDriverIO
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  6. Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  7. ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent certification(s) are a definite plus
