Patient Flow Operations Leader

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Leader Patient Flow Operations. This position is responsible for the coordination of safe, efficient patient care services within the facility, ensuring staffing levels are adequate to meet patient census. The successful candidate will supervise nursing staff and coordinate all hospital and bed utilization activities in the absence of hospital administration.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong background in nursing administration and a minimum of three years of medical/surgical experience or equivalent in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing Program and be registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing. Strong leadership, planning, organization, and time management skills are essential for this role.
HoursThis is a permanent full-time position with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation and IncentivesThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary range of $40.15 to $53.34 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan.
