About National Bank Financial

National Bank Financial – Wealth Management is the fifth largest mutual funds brokerage firm in Canada, with close to 1,000 investment advisors managing assets for over 400,000 clients across approximately 100 branches.

Your Role

As an Operations Agent at National Bank, you will work closely with clients and colleagues to capitalize on your ability to work in synergy. Your primary responsibilities include supporting team members by performing administrative tasks in accordance with Bank policies, standards, and procedures.

  • Welcome clients warmly to the branch and direct them to the right resource person.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person, on the phone, and via communication channels.
  • Ensure that all common spaces for the team and client greetings feel welcoming and appear professional.
  • Organize and manage conference room schedules for clients.
  • Help coordinate events and conferences with internal/external partners.
  • Carry out various daily administrative activities, such as mail distribution, filing documents, and ordering supplies.

Team Overview

You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with a team of investment advisors who manage the assets of numerous clients.

Prerequisites

  • A high school diploma and 21⁄2 years of relevant experience or a college diploma and 6 months of relevant experience.
  • A college diploma in administration is an asset.
  • Experience working in financial services is beneficial.
  • Practical knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
  • The ability to adapt to change and work under pressure is essential.
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills are necessary.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $55,000 - $65,000 based on industry standards and national averages.
