Care Coordinator Manager
The Medical Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a clinic, ensuring seamless interactions between patients and staff. This role works closely with senior management and may supervise administrative or support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a welcoming environment for patients
- Effectively handling customer and patient inquiries, including complaints
- Managing the reception area to maintain a positive first impression
- Maintaining accurate accounts receivable records
- Entering payments and performing monthly deposit reconciliation
- Ensuring timely and accurate entry of patient data into the Lifemark Patient System
- Submitting forms to insurance companies and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Processing expenses, petty cash, and managing GMB reviews
- Implementing accounting controls and reporting procedures
- Overseeing payroll, including accuracy, communication, and meeting deadlines
- Managing clinic office administration and adhering to company protocols
Qualifications & Core Competencies:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college diploma an asset
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and multitask effectively
- A self-starter with independence and teamwork capabilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer and data entry skills
- Experience in a Physiotherapy clinic an asset
