Digital Media Specialist

VERB Interactive is a digital marketing and technology agency with its head office located in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Specialist to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end paid media for high-profile clients. This includes planning, implementing, and reporting on campaigns. They will act as the go-to escalation point for client questions and concerns on campaigns and strive to find new tactics and platforms while collaborating with other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring, optimizing, and reporting of campaigns on an ongoing basis
- Optimizing campaigns based on goals and reviewing analytics to ensure goals are being achieved
- Collaborating with the Analytics team to report on insights and measurement of KPIs
- Establishing channel and tactical strategies along the path-to-purchase
- Establishing benchmarks and projections for tactics
- Presenting findings and strategies to clients
- Working with creative teams to develop fresh concepts and ideas that drive results
- Working with development teams on tracking plans, best practices, and issue resolution
- Monitoring campaign budgets and results, making budget and channel allocation recommendations as necessary
- Setting up and managing campaigns across various digital platforms
- Setting up new accounts and implementing account strategies
- Presenting and reporting to clients and being the go-to escalation point for client questions and concerns on campaigns
- Maintaining knowledge of industry best practices and developments in technology
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience managing paid media
- Post-secondary education in advertising, marketing, journalism, business, or relevant experience
- Highly knowledgeable and proficient with paid social platforms (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
- Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics, as well as staying up-to-date with new developments
- Up-to-date on the latest digital trends and able to apply educated recommendations based on this knowledge
- Demonstrates an interest in researching new channels and methods of paid amplification
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage budgets
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to clients
- Highly organized, with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
