Senior Municipal Infrastructure Specialist

Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Engineer to join our team at CIMA+ in Western Canada. As a key member of our Infrastructure sector, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects related to municipal, water, and wastewater markets in the Saskatchewan region and across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project management duties and have the opportunity to grow into a project manager role
  • Complete conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design tasks for water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects
  • Perform technical calculations and hydraulic modeling on various platforms
  • Prepare technical specifications, reports, memoranda, and permit approval applications
  • Participate in periodic site inspections
  • Liaise directly with clients, government, and regulatory authorities to address specific project needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Active professional member or eligible for such a membership with APEGS
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure fields
  • Past experience working as a site inspector during construction for water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects will be considered an asset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
