Job Summary

London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager in daily operations, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with technical preparations of prescription products, operation of automated pharmacy machines, and shipping prepared prescription products.
  • Receive and organize pharmacy stock, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other London Drugs' stores via phone and email.
  • Meet production deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-offs, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Operate the prescription computer system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of prescriptions.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in pharmacy operations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a professional image, reflecting positively on the company and adhering to our high standards of customer service.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively, with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Kroll pharmacy software.
  • Familiarity with computer and technology, an asset.
  • Previous pharmacy experience is preferred, but not required.
