Lala Ji's Pizzeria is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure that we are fully staffed during peak periods.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, as well as the overall service experience for our customers.
  • Train Staff: Provide training and guidance to our staff on their job duties, as well as sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Plan and order the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Food Order Summaries: Prepare summaries of food orders for our chef.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Initiative: Proactive and able to take initiative when needed.
