The Technical Lead Role

We're seeking a talented engineer and communicator to modernize our software licensing and enablement practices on Qlik's global SaaS platform. As a Technical Lead, you'll work with teams around the world to deliver features and integrations using PHP and MySQL in a Kubernetes environment at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cutting-Edge Engineering: Stay up-to-date with industry-leading engineering best practices and apply them to drive innovation.
  2. Technical Leadership: Provide daily technical guidance to a small global team, ensuring efficient development progress.
  3. Operational Excellence: Craft micro-services that are easily managed in production, empowered with insightful metrics and intuitive dashboards.
  4. Agile & Quality: Deliver high-caliber code with precision, moving fast without compromising on quality.
Requirements:
  1. Technical Proficiency: Strong experience in PHP and MySQL, with a strong willingness to learn quickly on new tech.
  2. Cloud Expertise: Experience with containerization and deployment on Linux using Docker and Kubernetes.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000 CAD per year. Eligibility requirements for benefits will be controlled by applicable Qlik plan documents and policies.
