Energy Operations Engineer

We are seeking an Energy Operations Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB. This is a 12-16 month co-op opportunity that will provide you with valuable knowledge and skills to develop your career.
Responsibilities- You will work on significant projects and collaborate with top industry professionals supporting our growing energy business.
- Support risk assessments for small-scale facility process changes, assisting in process hazard analysis (PHA) for field processing sites.
- Collaborate with operations teams and subject matter experts on preliminary risk analyses for operating facilities.
- Create bow-tie diagrams in MS Visio based on provided HAZID reports for individual facilities.
- A dynamic hybrid work environment with four days in our vibrant downtown Calgary office and one day working from home.
- Access to a broad support network including direct supervisors, program coordinators, HR, peers, and mentors.
- Personalized goals and reviews, as well as opportunities to provide feedback and shape the program for future students.
- Pursuing a degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Energetic and ready to tackle new projects and ideas.
- A keen eye for detail, strong analytical abilities, solid work ethic, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
