Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our Canadian Measurement Operations Engineering team. This role involves providing multi-disciplinary technical support to operations, focusing on meter station assets located within your assigned geographic area.

">

The position is based out of Calgary and will be primarily supporting measurement facilities located in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the right work is done at the right time, and at the right place.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Conduct data gathering and engineering analysis for issue resolution, facility health assessments, root cause analysis, and risk assessments.">
  • Provide field operations troubleshooting support to new and ongoing issues. This will include site visits to troubleshoot with operational specialists and engineers.">
  • Evaluate/Trend operational and engineering data to identify bad actors, system issues, and opportunities to improve equipment reliability maintenance.">
  • Facilitate operational decision-making risk assessments for measurement facilities.">
  • Lead treatment plan actions to support asset and system risk reduction.">
  • Conduct root cause analysis discussions for equipment failures and support development of corrective actions.">
  • Provide operational support for inflight GPMC projects to ensure risks and solutions put forth in yearly programs are adequately mitigated.">
  • Create Engineering Justifications to provide technical recommendations on project needs.">
  • Support Project Scoping document creation with Project Management teams to provide recommended solutions and alternatives.">
  • Complete Fit-For-Service / engineering assessments.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • ">
  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.">
  • 3+ years of progressive relevant engineering experience.">
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate change and help others adapt to a continuously changing work environment.">
  • Proven ability to drive short-term and long-term technical solutions to complex and ambiguous problems.">
  • Experienced with engineering principles, codes, and standards to identify issues and recommend improvements.">
  • Electrical Engineering focus preferred.">
  • Troubleshooting skills, including familiarity with all aspects of facility operation.">
  • Familiarity with norms and standards related to equipment reliability, safety, and risk management.">
  • Time management skills and ability to work independently, including at field locations.">
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to provide a driver's abstract (record) for review.">
  • Up to 25% travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training.">
  • Ability to live in Calgary.">

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
