Front Desk Job Description

Mobilize Connect is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk professional to join our team. As a Front Desk Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Special Requests: Accommodate special requests and ensure that guests' needs are met.
  • Room Status Updates: Coordinate room status updates with the housekeeping department and ensure that all rooms are accurately reflected in the system.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • End of Day Accounting: Perform end of day accounting tasks and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Communication: Utilize proper telephone etiquette and communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Age and Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Police Record: Must provide a clear police record.
