About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at First Student Canada in Stratford, ON. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
- Assist with mobile emergency services.

Requirements

- Valid driver's license required;
- Holds an S and/or T license;
- Possess a mechanic's tool set;
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program. Training, testing, and bonuses provided.
