Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

About the Position

As a Diesel Mechanic with First Student Canada, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections
  • Assisting with repairs and maintenance of diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Participating in ASE certification program and staying up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license
  • A mechanic's tool set
  • A willingness to participate in ASE certification program
