Job Description for Cook at Prime Time Donair and Poutine

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Prime Time Donair and Poutine. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that the kitchen and work areas are clean and organized.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will work as part of a team to prepare and cook meals for our customers. You will be required to work in a clean and organized environment, and to maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all aspects of your work.
