Chef Job Description

FATBURGER is seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet customer demands.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen performance.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
