About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Calgary General Painting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair and Finishing: Repair cracks and holes, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Colour Consultation: Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work at heights, bend, crouch, and kneel, with attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
