About the Role

As a Trade Commodity Finance Portfolio Analyst at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA, you will play a critical role in delivering day-to-day services to our clients in the trade commodity finance space. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and analyzing collateral/financing activity to ensure compliance with credit agreement terms
  • Reconciling activities and ensuring accurate records match the bank's booking system
  • Performing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Sanctions checks on all deals
  • Collaborating with the Front Office and Back Offices to update the bank system
  • Monitoring and analyzing covenants, including borrowing base reports and financial reports
  • Providing insights and analysis on client collateral reports and market events
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in Middle Office or Back Office collateral monitoring
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to create formulas
Language Requirements

Fluency in English is required, as you will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
