Job Title: Director, Programs

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Programs to lead our Clinical and Community Programs team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of programs that align with our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for Clinical and Community Programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of Program Managers to deliver high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify program funding needs and develop grant applications to secure funding.
  • Provide strategic advice on complex topics and sensitive issues, ensuring that our programs and services are delivered in a way that is respectful and inclusive of all individuals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, community partners, and other organizations.
  • Ensure that our programs and services are delivered in a way that is consistent with our organizational values and strategic plan.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, making recommendations for improvement and ensuring that our programs and services are meeting the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and manage budgets for Clinical and Community Programs, ensuring that we are using our resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead the creation and approval of organizational and program policies, procedures, and precedents.
  • Participate in internal committees, projects, and working groups, and attend meetings with funders and external stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a health care environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs and services.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Knowledge of community health, women's health, and community engagement.
  • Ability to work in a culturally sensitive and inclusive environment.

Assets:

  • Proficiency in both official languages or other language.
  • Experience as a Privacy Officer.
  • Accuro Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
