Director of Clinical and Community Programs

This leadership role is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of Clinical & Community Programs at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will ensure that strategic operational plans are completed through people, processes, and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of operational plans that align with the organization's strategic plan.
- Collaborate with staff to make decisions that impact short to long-term organizational results.
- Act as a site Privacy Officer and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities, synthesizing information, assessing risks, and developing strategic recommendations.
- Develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives and collaborate to reach innovative solutions.
- Provide financial management and budgeting expertise to support organizational goals.
- Ensure Human Resources Management is consistently provided across the organization.
- Lead the creation and approval of organizational and program policies, procedures, and precedents.
- Participate in internal committees, projects, and working groups, and attend meetings with funders and external stakeholders as required.
- Bachelor's degree or alternate education.
- 5+ years of Management experience in a health care environment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver complex programming while utilizing operational, human resource, and change management knowledge.
- Extensive understanding of community health, women's health, and community engagement.
- Proficiency in both official languages or other language.
- Accuro Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience.
- Development of new programming to address emerging community needs in collaboration with the Program Managers.
