Job Summary:

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional resident experiences by ensuring the highest level of service and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Your primary objective will be to provide friendly, helpful service to our residents, while maintaining the highest level of service and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend daily morning meetings and provide input to a maintenance journal, to record ongoing tasks of the team.
  • Daily work orders that apply to residential units and other employee areas.
  • Daily rounds in all buildings to effectively inspect the condition of our buildings and keep them operating safely and efficiently.
  • Follow up on weekly and monthly tasks to inspect and verify the working order of various types of mechanics in the buildings.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Continually strive to improve our services and our ability to respond to resident requests.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate our core values: Safety First, Striving to be the Best and Showing that We care.
  • Operating a vehicle is an essential function of this position and will require the applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the Whistler Blackcomb Driver's Standards Policy.
  • Be willing to attend training in all different types of emergency response scenarios.
  • This individual must have good attention to detail, be highly organized and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Passionate, connected and motivated.
  • Strong computer skills with; MS Office (Outlook/Word/Excel).
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
  • At least two years' experience in general maintenance, including heating/hot water systems, building construction, basic plumbing and carpentry.
  • Motivated to set and achieve year-round learning objectives.
  • Knowledge of Whistler/Blackcomb operations as an asset.
  • Proof of clear criminal record check.
