About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Whistler. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our resort's buildings and systems. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergencies, and providing general assistance to skilled trade persons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including small repairs, meter readings, and pool water chemical testing
- Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms and building management system alarms
- Provide general assistance to skilled trade persons, including mechanics, electricians, and plumbers
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and make minor purchases as required
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school
- Trades certification or engineering education preferred, but experience in maintenance may be substituted
- Minimum 1 year of building maintenance experience
- Strong command of the English language
- Excellent commitment to service and teamwork
- Ability to obtain a clean criminal record check
