Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and persuasive Market Salesperson to represent our brand at various markets and trade shows throughout the year. This role requires a strong ability to engage with customers, effectively sell our products, and work towards sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Devon + Lang at markets and trade shows, actively engaging with customers and selling our products.
  • Set up and take down market/trade show displays, ensuring they present the brand positively and attractively.
  • Track sales transactions and inventory during events.
  • Work towards sales targets, aiming to exceed them and benefit from higher commission rates.
  • Provide feedback from customers to enhance product offerings and the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in markets, trade shows, retail, or similar environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and close sales.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, comfortable working independently.
  • Flexible availability to attend various markets and trade shows throughout the year.
  • Ability to commute between our Calgary warehouse and market locations.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for long hours.
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Must be over 18 years old.
