Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring dealer orders meet market demand.
  • Manage monthly allocation vs. schedules to optimize production capability within the district.
  • Identify top minimum sales responsibility (MSR) loss dealers and develop targeted plans to address opportunity areas.
  • Review dealer financial statements to assess their ability to operate effectively and promote retail sales.
  • Act as a liaison between the manufacturer and retailer, providing counsel on inventory management, promotional activities, and program participation.
  • Ensure proper sales satisfaction levels are achieved at dealerships, while identifying areas for improvement.
  • Motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher levels of performance, aligned with marketing plans, merchandising, financial statement review, and new product launch training.
  • Collaborate with dealers on current programs in sales & aftersales, customer service, and service lane to ensure benefits for customers and dealers from the purchase process to vehicle sundown.
  • Maximize district service and parts sales, revenue, customer service, and develop strategies to support established targets.
  • Support dealers with special accessory promotions, warranty claims assistance, and service contact penetration.
  • Work with independent repair facilities and wholesale distributors to grow dealer wholesale business.
  • Champion best practice benchmarking, process improvement, and develop technical expertise and competency in the dealership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields.
  • Must reside in Windsor, Ontario.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals under minimal supervision.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • Sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Bilingual (French/English).
