We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives, where they can achieve personal goals, learn new hobbies, and take trips into the community.
About the Role- Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Support clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and facilitate social interactions, leisure activities, and community engagement.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
