Female Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker in Helston

Job Summary
Thornbury Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team in Helston. As a valued member of our community-based support team, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live safe and fulfilled lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with learning disabilities and/or autism in a community-based setting
- Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication management
- Encourage clients to participate in activities, hobbies, and trips into the community
- Work collaboratively with our clinical team to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Provide physical interventions and restraint training as required
Requirements
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Confidence in performing physical interventions and restraint training
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care
