About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at the Hobart Group, a leading Catering Equipment Manufacturer. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering the pricing strategy for parts, managing our supply chain, and ensuring efficient stock management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Pricing Strategy and Management: Develop and implement a pricing strategy for parts, maintaining pricing files on a monthly basis.
  2. Supply Chain Management: Source and manage our supply chain for all products, ensuring timely delivery and optimal costs.
  3. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to reduce slow and obsolete stock.
  4. Van Stock Process: Own the van stock process, including issuing starter stock, stock transfers, and stock returns.
  5. Reporting and Analytics: Work with IT to deliver monthly reporting on stock availability and delivery, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  6. Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve team processes, removing unnecessary steps and implementing automation where possible.
Requirements
  1. Proven Experience: A proven track record working in a purchasing/procurement/logistics role, ideally within a technical environment.
  2. Strategic Thinking: Willingness to work strategically as well as hands-on, with a focus on delivering results.
  3. Technical Skills: IT literate and experienced in the use of ERP and Service Systems.
  4. Data Analysis: Able to analyze and use data effectively to influence decision making.
  5. Health and Safety: Health and Safety experience with an IOSH qualification.
  6. Commercial Acumen: Commercial acumen with experience of producing and analyzing data.
  7. Communication and Organization: Good communication and organization skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
