Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Claims Consultant to join our team at Sun Life Financial. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing escalated client issues, subrogation, and claims involving legal case management, ombudsmen claims, and client impact situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve escalated claims issues with clients, Plan Sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Process and investigate claims, including gathering information from analysts/seniors and conducting further investigations where necessary.
  • Attend pre-install meetings and provide input on claims adjudication perspectives.
  • Investigate and resolve Ombudsman's cases, including contacts with the ombudsman's office and clients.
  • Serve as a claims representative for Best Practice and lead training roll-outs.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Dental Hygiene (CEGEP/College or University)
  • Experience working in a dental clinic
  • Strong knowledge of Group Insurance - Dental claims
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for Quebec only
