Be a Part of Our Story

We're seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Red's Wine Tavern. As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Sous Chef, you'll be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food production.
  • Developing and implementing menu items, recipes, and cooking techniques to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional food quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Managing inventory, labor costs, and food waste to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Collaborating with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef who possesses:

  • A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management.
  • 2-3 years of previous kitchen management or supervisory experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
  • Smart Serve, Food Handlers, and Red Seal certifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactivity, and a sense of urgency in driving results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A passion for food and a background in high-level hospitality.
