About the Role

Patria is seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of meals, as well as mentoring and training junior chefs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to create new and innovative menu items that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Culinary Leadership: Supervise and direct the activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Quality Control: Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure that all dishes meet our quality standards.
  • Event Planning: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets and corporate functions.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior sous chef role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
