As a Behaviour Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Jordan's Principle, a child-first and needs-based principle that ensures First Nations children have access to essential public services.
Job Summary:The Behaviour Analyst will provide psychological services to individuals with developmental disabilities and psychological/behavioural disorders, with a focus on supporting the needs of First Nations children. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide psychological services to individuals with developmental disabilities and psychological/behavioural disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to support the needs of First Nations children
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Conduct behavioural assessments and design, monitor, and evaluate skill development training and psychological/behavioural treatment programs
- Provide training and supervision to direct support staff to ensure services are individualized and developmentally appropriate
- M.A. or M.Sc. degree in Psychology from an accredited university with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Certification by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst
- Minimum of one year's experience in providing psychological services to individuals with developmental disabilities and psychological/behavioural disorders
- Ability to work effectively with clients, caregivers, and families, and to supervise and teach others
- Proficiency in the design and implementation of psychological/behavioural treatment procedures for clients with a possible dual diagnosis
