Role Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Financial Systems Analyst to join our Data & Analytics - Financial Applications and Analytics team. This role focuses on system configuration design and maintenance for our Accounts Receivable system, requiring a precise individual with experience in Accounts Receivable or accounting, skills in Excel and SQL, and an eagerness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Infor HRCM system and configurations.
- Work closely with users and IT professionals to troubleshoot system problems, test system solutions, and establish clear lines of communication.
- Develop reports using Structured Query Language (SQL) and perform data analysis.
- Streamline and standardize processes, implement best practices, and ensure risk mitigation controls.
- Identify opportunities to further leverage the system and stay up-to-date with new and upcoming functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline supplemented by related Information Systems courses.
- A minimum of five (5) years' recent related experience within a large organization with an emphasis on business systems and reporting.
- Extensive experience with complex Business systems, project planning, and control.
- Experience with PeopleSoft ERP and accounting or business knowledge is an asset.
- Excel knowledge and SSRS and Power BI experience are also assets.
