About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technology Services Analyst to join our team at Newmont Goldcorp Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our field operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for operational technology and data systems
  • Support Fleet Management Systems technologies such as Minestar, DSS, Surface Manager, two-way radio, telemetry, Blast PED system, Cap lamp and fleet management network
  • Manage relationships with service providers' field engineers and operations
  • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance
  • Provide level 1 and 2 system support for incidents and escalate to supervisor as needed
  • Execute changes for field technology services and related equipment
  • Track related technology issues, coordinate resolution, and assist in driving issues to closure
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical, Technologist, Mechanic, or related
  • Understanding of ITIL Cross-functional management process
  • Broad knowledge of all technology considerations (performance, scalability, maintainability, deployment, operations, technology infrastructure)
  • Emerging technologies
  • Valid "G" drivers license
  • Experience with Rajant, CAT technologies is an asset
  • 3 to 5 years work experience in technical roles including Technology Management
  • Prior mining or industrial experience is required
  • Customer relationship experience
Working Conditions

This is a site-based position located in Timmins, ON. The schedule is 4 days on, 3 days off.
