At Empower Simcoe, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Learning Facilitator to join our team.

We are presently accepting resumes for a number of Early Learning Facilitators to work hours as needed. This supply position supports both the Ontario Autism Entry to School Program, and the EarlyON Child and Family Centre programs operated by Empower Simcoe.

This role requires a family centered, collaborative approach to service delivery, working as part of a team to implement delivery of the Ontario Autism Entry to School program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families, and a strong understanding of Ministry of Education pedagogical practices and policy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing program plans that include play and inquiry-based learning opportunities, and assisting children to develop independence in self-care routines.

Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, making referrals as appropriate based on evidence-based screening tools, and providing outreach opportunities designed for specific populations.

Key qualifications include a community college diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, current registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators, and one year's experience working with children and families.

We are looking for a candidate who is bilingual in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Tamil or Urdu, and has a valid G class driver's license and own reliable transportation.
