About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Field Operations Specialist to join our team at JENOPTIK Smart Mobility Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Red Light Camera (RLC) systems in Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic components, power, and connectivity wiring, computer hardware, etc. They will also possess general knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dedicated aspects related to the operation, maintenance, data collection, basic troubleshooting, and associated record keeping of all RLC systems
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe efficient and productive manner in compliance with Company Health and Safety regulations and to the satisfaction of our clients and senior management
  • Collect, document, and deliver data to the Joint Processing Centre on a bi-weekly basis
  • Maintain and upkeep all Smart Mobility operations equipment, including performing basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic components, assembling and installing equipment components, and installing, tuning, and maintaining digital camera systems
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in electronics or computer hardware repair
  • General knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Ambitious and hard-working individual with high personal ethics
  • Canadian Citizenship or Qualified Canadian Worker
