Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Manage and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tender and administer contracts, ensuring timely completion and satisfactory results.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working at heights.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Initiative, judgment, and flexibility, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and maintain attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Work Environment

Thrive Landscapes Ltd is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel and flexibility. The work term is permanent, with a 40-hour workweek and English as the primary language of communication.
