Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

Thrive Landscapes Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to project timelines.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and budget.
  • Supervise and manage landscape construction work, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tender and administer contracts, ensuring smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
