Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

Thrive Landscapes Ltd is seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
  • Organize and coordinate the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Supervise and manage landscape construction work, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Tender and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Work Environment:

Thrive Landscapes Ltd is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel to various work sites. The work environment is fast-paced, with tight deadlines and a physically demanding workload.

Language:

English is the primary language used in this role.

Hours:

40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as required.
